    There is no conference fee

    Accommodation:

Accommodation is available on site: 6 single rooms and 3 double rooms. We provide breakfast cereal, bread etc. We prefer to give this on-site accommodation to those that have very limited financial support for the workshop. There are many guest houses and lodges within 30 km of HartRAO where others can be accommodated.

Information on how to get to HartRAO is available. HartRAO lies in the Buffer Zone of the world heritage site "The Cradle of Humankind". There are quite a few places for accommodation available in this area. Go to Map Location on the website ValleyofAncestors to see where accomodation is available outside HartRAO. Note that the Highlander has closed, which would have been the nearest to HartRAO. Also note that the roads NOT shaded with grey colour are dirt roads and therefore need to be traversed slowly. If you do suffer from hayfever or allergies check that the room does not have a thatched grass roof as such suffers may experience difficulties with the grass smell.

The page giving accomodation in the ValleyofAncestors does not work with Netscape. To get to the various accomodation pages go to hotels or guest houses or bed-and-breakfast or resorts or backpackers or self_catering. Unfortunately the pages do not list tariffs.

I have collected tariffs (not guaranteed) for some of these -
