Main (nccs) & Backup (nccs2) Control Computers

These two computer systems have been bought and setup to be as similar as possible with regard to hardware and software. They are hardware compatible with the FS standard configuration defined by the NASA Field System Group.

twin removeable 1 GByte SCSI disks,

Interfaces:

AT-GPIB interface, 16 port BOCA serial interface.

Attached Hardware :

• Mark I Pulsar Timer (HPIB),
• Frequency Synthesisers (HPIB),
• SDIO instrumentation bus (Serial).

Software Services :

• Secondary HartRAO Domain Nameserver (DNS),
• Secondary Time Standard (NTP).
