Technical Monitoring System (M.Ainley)

The Technical Monitoring System is not part of the NCCS per se. It will be bought and managed independantly in a first stage. As soon as the TMS is available the NCCS must be able to interface to it to read alarms and equipment status. Interfacing will be done via NFS files or via a specially developed driver. Both of these solutions are viable and the exact solution will be decided once the TMS has been bought and installed.
