Pulsar Timer (C.Flanagan??)

Control of the Mark I Pulsar Timer is to be done directly from the NCCS via HPIB using a device server custom written for the purpose. The device server will accept commands from the network and convert them to HPIB, implementing all HPIB commands of the Mark I Pulsar Timer.

What is not yet clear is how the Pulsar Timer internal clock time will be setup. Time under Linux does not work in the same way that time worked on the HP1000s and it may be necessary to modify the Pulsar Timer to cope with this.

Tasks still to be done :

$\Longrightarrow$
INVESTIGATE CLOCK SETTING DETAILS OF MARK I PULSAR TIMER,
$\Longrightarrow$
WRITE A DEVICE SERVER FOR THE MARK I PULSAR TIMER,
