Frequency Synthesisers (M.Gaylard)

The two frequency synthesisers (HP8862 and HP3336) will be controlled directly from the NCCS via HPIB. A generic frequency synthesiser device server will be written to control each of the synthesisers. The device server(s) will accept a standard set of commands for setting up and reading a frequency synthesiser from the network and convert them to the necessary HPIB equivalents.
