near Hartebeestport Dam, South Africa. Amanzingwe is about 1 hour's drive from central Johannesburg, about 1.5 hours

Amanzingwe is limited, so please book early. Rooms will be
allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. When contacting
Amanazingwe, please let them know that you are booking for the
"HartRAO 2011 E-VLBI Workshop" (on Amanzingwe's
web-booking form, please add this information to the "additional
requests" field) and give them your full name and contact details, as
well as those of any people who will be sharing the room with you, and
in the case of children, their ages as well
A conference dinner will be provided for the evening of Nov. 14, and lunches will provided on both Nov. 14 and 15, but if you want dinner for any other nights at the conference centre please book it with your room. Amanzingwe is in a rural setting - so no other restaurants are accessible without transport. The deadline for booking at the conference rate is Sep. 15.

Transport
There is no public transport to Amanzingwe, and it is a considerable distance from OR Tambo International Airport. Cars can be hired through the usual agencies at OR Tambo, and secure parking is available at Amanzingwe. Individual airport transfers can be arranged through Amanzingwe when booking rooms. We will arrange some shared transport from OR Tambo and from Lanseria airports to Amanzingwe on Nov. 13, and from Amanzingwe back to the airports on Nov 16. There will be a charge for this service, payable upon registration. We anticipate one-way costs of EU 20 per person, but the exact prices are not yet known.
